3 ways to pamper yourself this Valentine's Day!
1. Go shopping
I have to admit, anytime my significant other buys me a gift I thank him, and ask him if he has the receipt. I know his intentions are good, but he just doesn't get it quite right. All the stress we put on men could be avoided by just going shopping ourselves. Take the day off work early and stroll through a trendy shopping district, go to the Farmers Market or visit your favourite independent boutique. You will get exactly what you want and show it off to your honey when they get home!
2. Take a long bath
Nothing beats spending time alone in a nice, warm bath. Use this time to read a book, listen to music, or get lost in your own thoughts. Add some bubbles or a bath bomb if you like. Remember this is your time, tell your partner to keep the kids at bay or to occupy himself in the meantime.
3. Binge Watch or Read
Yes, binge! Get in those 5 seasons of your favourite tv show. Finish that book you left half read. Make a cup of tea and some popcorn and relax for the next 3 hours. Sometimes it feels really good to turn off your brain and do nothing or immerse yourself in fantasy.
