Jewelry Making Classes in Calgary - Alora Raises Money for HomeFront
Share
Alora Boutique offered a two-hour workshop teaching the basics of jewellery making in East Village Junction. Participants made one piece of wearable, jewellery for themselves and they learned about tools and materials used in basic jewellery making.
The theme was a fusion of science and art. Those who attended were taught about the mechanics of bicycles and created a cool piece of bike chain jewelry (bike chain from Rath Bicycle).
The class was free, but we asked participants for a donation to Homefront. Thank you to everyone who came out. Keep reading for few photos of pieces from the day.
