Alora Boutique Trunk Show at Pixie Hollow
Alora Boutique visited Pixie Hollow in High River, Canada recently. The night was a chance to get together with girlfriends, enjoy some homemade pastries, wine and cheese, and get some styling tips from Becky Kung of Velvet & Vino.

Pixie Hollow is a wonderful store in the heart of HIgh River (127 3rd Ave SW). They sell books, clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, children's toys, and furniture. You can spend hours in this lovely shop finding treasure after treasure.
Alora boutique was honoured to be asked to participate in the event by doing a Trunk Show.
The event
Becky Kung wowed the crowed with a presentation on fall trends using items found in Pixie Hollow. Becky of Velvet and Vino mentioned that wearing your blazer on the shoulders (editor style), knits, layering jackets, and the colour pink were all trends for fall. All of the clothing that was used was luxurious and unique. We have never seen these pieces anywhere else. Ladies who shop here will find something for their sophisticated and unique style.
The food was prepared by a local High River resident. The set up was magnificent and worth of Pintrest like praise.
Overall, it was an excellent event. Customers left happy and with great styling ideas, and items to add to their wardrobes.

High River
When we rolled into High River, there were still houses that were falling over. People and businesses like Pixie Hollow are rebuilding from the flood. The roads are still being fixed in the downtown area and many businesses are still closed. Despite the devastation, it is really great to see the spirit of the town and the support that people give each other.
We want to urge people to support local businesses affected by the flood. They are still recovering and any little bit helps.
