Raw Amethyst Earrings and Rings : Behind the Scenes

This week has been a mix of exciting and stressful! We are busy getting our spring line into stores across Canada and here is a behind the scenes look at me making amethyst earrings and rings.

Raw Amethyst Earrings and Rings

I really wanted to keep the raw look if the amethyst (that I mined in Thunder Bay!), so I just ground down a few sharp edges and polished the stone a little bit. I am a big fan of natural looking material, so that is why I stayed away from high shine. 

To grind down the stone I used my trusty hand grinder and used sterling silver and brass earring posts for the studs. You can find the collection online starting January 25th!
